होईकोर्ट ने सरकार को हाथरस रेप पीड़िता के परिजनों को नौकरी देने का निर्देश दिया लखनऊ, 28 जुलाई (आईएएनएस)। इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की लखनऊ पीठ ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को तीन महीने के भीतर सरकारी विभाग या उपक्रम में हाथरस मामले की पीड़िता के परिवार के सदस्य को रोजगार देने पर विचार करने का निर्देश दिया है। सितंबर 2020 में दलित लड़की की कथित तौर पर बलात्कार और हत्या कर दी गई थी।

पीठ ने राज्य के अधिकारियों को आदेश दिया कि वे पीड़ित परिवार के एक सदस्य को रोजगार देने के लिए 30 सितंबर, 2020 को लिखित रूप में परिवार से किए गए अपने वादे का पालन करे।

न्यायमूर्ति राजन रॉय और न्यायमूर्ति जसप्रीत सिंह की पीठ ने राज्य के अधिकारियों को परिवार के सामाजिक और आर्थिक पुनर्वास और परिवार के बच्चों की शैक्षिक जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए हाथरस के बाहर और उत्तर प्रदेश के अंदर पीड़ित परिवार को छह महीने की अवधि के दौरान नौकरी देने पर विचार करने का निर्देश दिया।

पीठ ने एक जनहित याचिका पर आदेश पारित किया, जिसे 2020 में सभ्य और सम्मानजनक अंतिम संस्कार/दाह संस्कार के अधिकार के रूप में दर्ज किया गया था क्योंकि पीड़िता का अंतिम संस्कार आधी रात के बाद जल्दबाजी में किया गया था, जिसमें परिवार की सहमति नहीं थी।

पीड़ित परिवार ने मांग की थी कि उसे हाथरस के बाहर नौकरी और पुनर्वास की जरूरत है।

पीड़ित के परिवार ने अदालत के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया कि घटना के बाद, पीड़ित के भाइयों और पिता को बेरोजगार कर दिया गया और परिवार के पास खाने के लिए संकट पैदा हो गया।

पीड़ित परिवार ने अदालत में यह भी गुहार लगाई कि घटना के कारण हाथरस में उनके लिए सामान्य जीवन जीना मुश्किल हो गया।

आदेश पारित करते हुए इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट की बेंच ने माना कि राज्य सरकार ने मृतक विनय तिवारी और मनीष गुप्ता के परिवार को रोजगार दिया था, जिनकी पुलिस कर्मियों ने हत्या कर दी थी और उन्हें एक बड़ी मुआवजा राशि भी दी थी।

पीठ ने अपने आदेश में हाथरस के जिलाधिकारी को मुकदमे में गवाही देने वाले गवाहों की यात्रा और भरण-पोषण का खर्च मुहैया कराने का भी निर्देश दिया।
